Skincare

Apia Honey was created from a need to provide a solution for a family member's skin condition. Therefore all skincare products have been formulated with this in mind, meaning no artificial fragrances, no steroids and no long ingredient lists to let the benefits of using honey on the skin shine through. This means clean, natural and effective products for your skin that have been tested on family members for results. Of course, as with any product if you do develop an irritation then you should stop application and seek medical advice.

No way. We have a deep connection to bees and interact with nature every day so would never test any of our products on animals.

We are a Western Australian company which means all the honey is produced and harvested in selected locations amongst the Jarrah and Marri forests of Western Australia. The skincare products that use this honey and beeswax are produced in a GMP certified facility in Perth, Western Australia.

Yes, all Apia Honey products are safe to use while pregnant with no retinoids and retinol. However, if you develop any irritation, please consult your health care professional.

Honey

We are a Western Australian company which means all the honey is produced and harvested in selected locations amongst the Jarrah and Marri forests of Western Australia.

Honey is not recommended to be consumed for anyone under 12 months. If your child is above that age then our honey is a perfect way for them to enjoy nature's natural sweetener.

Yes, all Apia Honey products are safe to eat while pregnant.

As honey is produced from a bee or animal we are not classified as a vegan brand.  If you are vegan, please consult the ingredient information in each product for animal-derived ingredients

Honey kept in the correct environment away from heat with the lid on and without any water added to it will stay ‘good’ for many years with no expiry date due to the natural sugars and hydrogen peroxide in the honey keeping it shelf stable. In general we recommend you consume the jar of honey within 3 years of purchase.

Keep your honey at room temperature in a cool dry environment.  If the honey has candied or crystalized, then simply put the jar of honey into a vessel of warm water for approx. 20 mins to return back to its liquid state.
